Pete Dye twirled his golf design magic three times here at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort. The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is a multiple winner of VegasGolfer Magazine's Best overall experience category as voted on by readers. Also, Golf Digest awarded 4.5 stars to each of three courses: Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and the Wold. With the amazing clubhouse, unabated views of the Sheep Mountains, and nearly flawless golf, it's easy to see why readers and editors of fine publications love this place. The WOLF course is the Paiute’s reigning king and offers the most challenge and difficulty. Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb officially opened the course by competing in Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf, and shot 65 and 64 respectively. A few more forced carries and golf challenge separates the Wolf from the other two. Some Las Vegas golfers call the Wolf the best golf course in Las Vegas. The par 3, fifteenth hole is complete with an island green and is golf course beauty at its best.
Sun Mountain was the second course built at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, and works hard to stand out from the other two, and does it very well. Sun Mountain is a little tamer than Snow Mountain, but the holes are just as good. Many golfers--when playing Sun Mountain--feel like they are on the edge of nature due to the location of the course being completely away from the resort's interior.
Snow Mountain is the original—and some say the best of the three--and features traditional Dye railroad tie-decorated bunkers and dogleg finishing holes. The 16th, a par 3, is a delight. The views and overall atmosphere of Snow Mountain are stunning, and one of the most scenic of all Las Vegas golf courses.
The majestic clubhouse offers golfers fine dining, views, banquet facilities and a pro shop complete with just about anything a Las Vegas golfer will need.

If you live in the United States and find yourself working long hours with little time to splurge on yourself, you are not alone. On average, Americans work more days and more hours per day than in many countries in the world. So, when it is time to kick back and get away from it all, booking a Las Vegas golf vacation makes plenty of sense. You can experience a unique mix of golf and gambling, putting and puttering, birdies and banquets.
